Going for our dreams takes courage. It’s tough to pursue the things we want in life when there are so many things that can go wrong. Just the feeling of disappointment is enough scare most people away from really giving their dreams their full effort. As some of these courage quotes will tell you, having courage doesn’t mean you don’t feel fear. In fact, without fear, courageousness wouldn’t exist. You don’t need courage to tie your shoes do you? People who have courage are those who feel the fear but do it anyway.
It’s scary to go for our dreams knowing that we may fail. It’s scary to put our hopes on the line knowing that there’s a possibility of not only disappointment, but embarrassment. It’s scary to know that there are people out there who will criticize and judge our results. All of these things can be valid reasons to not even attempt to create the life you want to experience but if you really want to make this one life that you have amazing and special, you’re going to have to come up with reasons for taking action that are much stronger than any fear you may have.
Taking action despite your fears, that’s power, that’s courage and until you can get yourself to do that, you’ll always be wondering how life would’ve been had you just taken the chance.
